Debra Messing's Roman Acting

Debra Messing in 2009
Debra Messing's son Roman might already be set to take over mom's legacy! In an interview at Breezy Mama, Debra says:
"He was Peter Pan last week at school. It was terrifying for me. And he was brilliant." She also joked, "I told him when he was about two weeks old that I’d already decided that he was going to be an architect. But that’s fine for now… it’s a hobby, but it’s not what Mama chose for him though."
It seems to land equally on both sides of the fence, whether acting moms and dads are open to their kids following in their footsteps. Courtney Cox has mentioned she's "not nuts about it" when it comes to her daughter, Coco, performing (though she admits Coco has a talent for accents!) Paris Jackson's guardian and grandmother, as well as their Uncle Marlon, say they are happy with Paris pursuing acting as long as she gets an education.

Roman certainly will have an ability to devote himself to whatever he's drawn to, be it acting, architecture, or anything else, with a passionate Aries Sun and a strong-willed Scorpio Moon. However, Venus and Mars both lie in Gemini, so it'll have to be something that continually keeps his interest, as Gemini prefers change and challenge over routine. As he's only 7-1/2, I guess well have to wait and see!

Coco Arquette Wants to Act

Courtney Cox says she's allowing 7-year-old daughter Coco to engage in her parent's profession, even though she's not "nuts" about it (dad is Courtney's ex-husband, David Arquette). Of Coco, Courtney says:
"She does like to perform. She does great accents. The other day she called up David and left a message pretending to be Kym Johnson, who was his dancing partner on 'Dancing With the Stars' and is from Australia. She said, 'Allo Dye-vid, it's Kym'. I can't do accents myself but she does them really well."
In a previous post, Mlle. Kiddie revealed that Coco's Scorpio south node may have something to do with the dramatic streak that mom says she has. So immersing herself in the often emotional process of acting may be quite appealing for Coco. She also has three planets in the versatile sign of Gemini: Venus, Mercury, and the Sun. The creativity with Venus and Mercury fused together in Gemini will allow Coco to think well on her feet and handle situations where she needs to improvise quite well. Mlle. Kiddie has also mentioned Coco's trine from this trio to Neptune, allowing her to draw easily on inspiration.

The planet Jupiter was in the sign of Virgo when Coco was born, and it forms a challenging square to the Gemini planetary trio. Jupiter is a planet that is about the desire to reach our potential and risk, but in Virgo, it's easy to get bogged down in the details of doing everything perfectly, and overthinking things, so the think-on-your-feet quality of Gemini may have Coco bogging herself down with questions or uncertainty. Encouragement and practice will help build her confidence if she chooses this challenging craft.

Suri Surely an Actress?

This summer, Katie Holmes told InStyle magazine that she thinks Suri will be an actress!

"She's an amazing athlete, singer and dancer, and I think she'll probably be an actress."

Of course, mom couldn't be biased about her daughter's talents, surely! But while many celebrity moms worry about their kids in the business, I guess the business has been good enough to Katie that she wouldn't mind it for her daughter. She's certainly got acting in her blood, but will she really be an actress?

Actors and actresses come with charts of all kinds, but it's not surprising or uncommon to find a Piscean and/or Neptunean influence. This planet and sign create fluidity in a personality, making it easier to become a chameleon. Like water filling a glass, a bucket, or a bowl, it takes on the shape of its container, just like an actor might with a role.

Suri has Neptune very close to her Ascendant. Any planet close to the Ascendant often colors the overall personality, style, and appearance of that person. Someone with Mars close to the Ascendant might be very driven or aggressive, for instance, while someone with Uranus close to the Ascendant will certainly stand out in a crowd, dressing and acting in a way that sets them apart from the norm. So Neptune, the planet of the shifter, the chameleon, often makes the person seem like a bit of an enigma. She may reflect the moods and expectations of those looking at her (can you say Quantum Astrology?!), which can be great for an actress, although challenging sometimes in real life.

Suri would probably be able to take on the different identities of her roles rather easily. And she certainly already has the wardrobe changes down pat!

Courtney Cox says daughter Coco is dramatic

"She's very confident and funny. She's so dramatic already. She laughs hard. She pouts hard. She cries hard. She loves hard. If she can't find something, it's the end of the world."

So says mom Courtney Cox of 5-year-old daughter Coco, who Courtney says wouldn't surprise her if she ended up an actress. Coco may be getting a taste of it soon. Mom and Dad, David, have signed up to star in Scream 4 and Coco may make a brief appearance.

What's behind Coco the Drama Princess? A Scorpio South Node in the 5th House. The South Node is often where we can find our comfort zone behaviors, and therefore sometimes where we have a natural talent.

Scorpio is a rather dramatic sign, feeling everything intensely. 'Crying hard and loving hard' come with the territory with Scorpio, which dives deeply into life's experiences and doesn't hold back, even if it feels overwhelming. The 5th house is a very creative house--it's all about living in the present and expressing the self without holding back. So Coco can throw herself deeply (Scorpio) into whatever she's expressing in the moment (5th house) easily, sometimes too easily.

Will she grow up to be an actress? It's not as likely as it may seem at this early age. We tend to grow beyond our south node tendencies as we get older and grow into the rest of our chart, however, the south node is present throughout our lives. Coco has her moon in Taurus, so she's likely to mellow out as she gets older and leave the drama behind. The acting? Maybe, maybe not!

So for now, bring on Scream 4!
