Courtney Cox worries about her daughter's perfectionism, saying in an interview:

"[My daughter is] very artistic, but she's also a perfectionist. I feel a little bad: That's the part I see in her that's like me — and you don't want them to have that at age 5." 

Good news, mom. She'll probably grow out of it as she learns to manage that Virgoan need to do everything right. Coco was born with Jupiter in the sign of Virgo, a sign that likes to weigh, measure, and control many things in its world. Jupiter represents our desire to grow and reach our potential, an agenda which Virgo is in total agreement with, but Virgo wants to grow by improving, becoming better at whatever they set their mind to than they were before. It's out of this need to grow but to control that Virgo's perfectionism complex is born. 

Virgo gains a lot of pleasure and self-esteem by doing things right, but it can be pretty hard on itself when it makes a mistake, which can make it very hard for them to have patience with themselves when they are learning and practicing. Coco can stop herself from trying sometimes because she's afraid it'll come out wrong. Because of the tense relationship between Jupiter in Virgo and Venus (a planet not just of love but also creativity and art) in Gemini, she may often tense up and stop the free-flowing creativity in experimental Gemini. As she learns to recognize this feeling and gets more confident in her abilities (not to mention gaining experience), she'll be able to more naturally push through her fears of getting it "wrong!"

Coco not only has her sun in the sign of Gemini, but also Mercury and Venus. It's typically known that Geminis are often knowledgeable (even if they only know a little about a whole lot) and have a love for learning and talking, and talking, and has talking been mentioned, too?! But with Mercury (the planet of thinking, learning, and oh yes, talking) in this sign so close to her Sun, she gets double the effect (or would that be quadruple, since Gemini is already the sign of the twins)? With Venus there as well, she can definitely turn on the charm when she wants to, utilizing Gemini's flexibility to get along with just about anyone, at least for a short period of time. It's a good thing her down-to-earth Taurus moon can keep her grounded. Gemini is often wanting to go in all directions at once, drawn to whatever catches it's attention at the moment, but Taurus wants to just sit still and let the world come to it!

Gemini usually likes to keep things lighthearted, but Coco has brooding Pluto opposite her Sun's position, which lends a certain hard-edged wisdom and insight to what she already easily observes around her. Coco is definitely intellectually shrewd. More on this aspect from Coco's Kiddiegram:

      Coco Riley is very willful in a quiet, subtle way and she has a very private, hidden, secretive side that she shares with very few people. She wants to be in control of her own life and she is inclined to resist or even undermine anyone in a position of authority. Becoming a significant or powerful person in her own right is important to her, so she is likely to push away from or struggle with anyone who has power over her. Try not to force your own will upon her unnecessarily, as she is likely to resent it fiercely.

     Coco Riley is a complex person and she may have strong inner drives or ambitions that even she does not totally understand. She tends to go to extremes and be a bit of a fanatic, in her own way.

Coco Arquette Wants to Act

Courtney Cox says she's allowing 7-year-old daughter Coco to engage in her parent's profession, even though she's not "nuts" about it (dad is Courtney's ex-husband, David Arquette). Of Coco, Courtney says:

"She does like to perform. She does great accents. The other day she called up David and left a message pretending to be Kym Johnson, who was his dancing partner on 'Dancing With the Stars' and is from Australia. She said, 'Allo Dye-vid, it's Kym'. I can't do accents myself but she does them really well."

In a previous post, Mlle. Kiddie revealed that Coco's Scorpio south node may have something to do with the dramatic streak that mom says she has. So immersing herself in the often emotional process of acting may be quite appealing for Coco. She also has three planets in the versatile sign of Gemini: Venus, Mercury, and the Sun. The creativity with Venus and Mercury fused together in Gemini will allow Coco to think well on her feet and handle situations where she needs to improvise quite well. Mlle. Kiddie has also mentioned Coco's trine from this trio to Neptune, allowing her to draw easily on inspiration.

Astrology Basics: The Trine Aspect and Coco Arquette

A natal chart shows the placements of the planets in the sky at the time of someone’s birth. To the average person, it may just look like a lot of dots in a circle, but to an astrologer, it reveals the patterns and tendencies in that person’s behavior and needs. The planets, while very far apart in our sky, look closer together when placed in the natal wheel, and connections between them can be seen by tracing certain mathematical angles between the planets, such as the 90 degree* angle, called a square.

Mlle. Kiddie would like to introduce you to a particularly lovely aspect called the trine. A trine is created in a natal chart by two (or more) planets that make a 120 degree angle when a line is drawn across the shortest distance between them, like this:

A trine in a natal chart shows a harmonious connection between two planets, so it represents two facets of a person that work together easily. This can reveal natural talents in a person, things that they may do well and may even take for granted because they’ve got something going for them that not everyone has. Most people, although not all, have some kind of trine in their chart, although it will be different for everyone, just as we all have different talents.

Trines often work in harmony with the elements in astrology: fire, earth, air, and water. Planets that are trine each other will usually share the same element, revealing some of the ways they work together.

Birthday girl Coco Arquette (she’s 7 years old on Monday, June 13th), daughter of Courtney Cox and David Arquette, has a trine between three of her planets: her Mercury and Venus are close together in Gemini, and her Neptune is about 120 degrees away from both of them, in Aquarius. Courtney Cox says daughter Coco is dramatic

"She's very confident and funny. She's so dramatic already. She laughs hard. She pouts hard. She cries hard. She loves hard. If she can't find something, it's the end of the world."

So says mom Courtney Cox of 5-year-old daughter Coco, who Courtney says wouldn't surprise her if she ended up an actress. Coco may be getting a taste of it soon. Mom and Dad, David, have signed up to star in Scream 4 and Coco may make a brief appearance.

What's behind Coco the Drama Princess? A Scorpio South Node in the 5th House. The South Node is often where we can find our comfort zone behaviors, and therefore sometimes where we have a natural talent.
