Sagittarius Signature Star Child: Armie Heartly Gigandet

Armie Heartly, third child of Cam Gigandet (The Twilight Saga, Easy A) and fiancée Dominique Geisendorff, is our Sagittarius Signature Star Child!

Armie's Sun lies in outgoing and adventurous Sagittarius. With Mercury also in Sagittarius, she will cultivate a love of learning most naturally through experimentation. If she can get her hands on something, her interest is more easily engaged.      Armie is quite conscientious and mature, and she takes her responsibilities very much to heart. She expects to work for and achieve on her own whatever she wants, and she does not seek others' assistance or company, even when she would really benefit from it. Because she is rather quiet, contained, and unexpressive, you may not know what is going on inside her, but she is very sensitive to criticism and she needs a lot of warm encouragement to feel good about herself. Do not be too hard on her for her mistakes, as she already tends to be hard on herself. Humor is a good antidote for her often overly serious attitude.

Virgo Signature Star Child: Charlotte Grace Prinze

Charlotte Grace, daughter of Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr., is our featured Virgo Signature Star Child. Charlotte was born while the Sun was in Virgo, emphasizing a down-to-earth and practical kind of personality, but with the Sun cozying up to serious, rule-following Saturn, also in Virgo, and an always appropriate Libra Moon, she has all the makings of a sweet and obedient child, always wanting to do her best and please others. Grace, indeed, is an apt middle name!

But she's certainly got a rebellious streak. Uranus, the planet of the rebel, is opposite the Sun and Saturn. When the pressure of being too good and living up to everything she expects of herself gets to be too much, you can bet that Uranus will grab the steering wheel and get her to mix it up a bit, breaking some rules and giving her a bit of elbow room to be herself. Uranus in Pisces just wants to allow her to be loosey-goosey and go with the flow of being herself, even if it's not always her best or most perfect self. Still, she earnestly wants to strive to be her best and will gain much self-confidence and self-respect from doing so with that Virgo Sun. Gaining skills that help her win achievements may especially be rewarding, so she'll likely want to do well in school and will be able to do so, but may worry about falling short.

Mercury conjunct Saturn

     Charlotte Grace has a serious and deep mind, and she is inclined to be uncommunicative or ill at ease with light, banal social conversation. When she studies a subject, she is very careful, thorough, and exacting. Her concentration and ability to work on difficult, demanding intellectual problems is very good. She can be too rigid in her thinking, however.

Mercury opposite Uranus

     Mental stimulation and the excitement of new ideas and discoveries is very necessary for Charlotte Grace. Quick to grasp new concepts, she is drawn to the most daring or radically innovative ideas. She tends to act on her ideas rather impulsively and is impatient with duller or more methodical minds.

Beach Birthday for Virgo Henry Story Driver

Nope, we're not in Virgo birthday season yet! 3-1/2 year old Henry attended a friend's birthday party at the beach this weekend with mom Minnie Driver. Minnie has proclaimed her love of the ocean and it's probably something her and son Henry share in common. They both also share a Scorpio Moon in their natal charts; the bottomless depth of the ocean appeals to these intense, watery moon signs. 

That's not all they share, astrologically speaking. They both have strong Virgo influences in their chart: Minnie's south node, and Henry's Sun and Saturn. Minnie's natural orientation toward a practical and analytical perspective in life will be a great example for Henry. Where Saturn lies in our chart, we can often find our teachers; those people in our lives that we naturally look up to, not with starry-eyed adoration but respect for the wisdom they offer us. 

With Uranus opposite his Sun, Henry does have a bit of the rebel in him, and mom can understand that as well, with her Sun in the rebel sign of Aquarius. Looks like this duo is well-matched, in family love and in the stars!
