Aquarius Signature Star Child: Rocco Cannavale

Rocco, son of Rose Byrne (Spy, Annie) and Bobby Cannavale (Ant-Man, Annie), is our Aquarius Signature Star Child!

Rocco will be strong and independent - especially intellectually. With Mercury in Capricorn conjunct Pluto, he'll have an intense conviction behind his ideas and opinions and a deep desire to know and understand complex but subtle truths, even at a young age. This Mercury-Pluto conjunction is also in a tense and tight square with Uranus, the rebel planet. He'll be able to stick to his guns and think for himself, but he may have a hard time being humble enough to learn from others' different perspective once he's made up his mind about something!

He may also be quite the scientist--his Mercury-Pluto in practical Capricorn will have him wanting to get to the bottom line of something by putting it to the test to see results and he could be well-suited for research of some kind when he grows up. If research doesn't intrigue him, investigation might. While he'll be as curious as the next person, it's really the drive to get answers and uncover secrets that will thrill him, with Mercury conjunct Pluto but also Mars and his Moon both in the penetrating sign of Scorpio. Moon in Scorpio:

     Rocco tends to brood, and he seems to really need to do this sometimes. Having a private place to retreat to - a place to think or dream or just be alone - would be very good for him. His introspective or quiet side should be respected, and his dark moods are likely to lift naturally, if he is allowed to let them be, without being encouraged to "snap out of it" or to be outgoing and cheerful when he does not feel that way. A gentle touch of humor can be helpful, though, when he is taking himself too seriously.
     Rocco is also quite adept at reading other people's feelings and sensing what is going on beneath the surface of a person or situation, and he can become rather confused or mistrustful when people are pretending - saying and acting one way when they feel something else entirely. You will find there is little you can hide from him, and honesty, even if it makes you uncomfortable, is the only thing which will earn his respect and trust.

Mars in Scorpio:

     Rocco is very strong-willed, in a rather quiet way. When he wants something, the intensity of his desire and determination is formidable. Though he will not seek out confrontation, he will fight fiercely if he sees no other way.

Cancer Signature Star Child: Bingham "Bing" Hawn Bellamy

"Bing," son of rocker Matt Bellamy and actress Kate Hudson, is our featured Cancer Signature Star Child!

With Venus and the Sun in Cancer, Bing has a loving nature, being naturally inclined to nurture others, and with an intense Scorpio Moon, deep bonds with those he loves will be paramount.  From his Kiddiegram:

Venus in Cancer:
     A warm home, loving family relationships, and emotional closeness are extremely important to Bing Bellamy. When he feels secure and loved, he is one of the most caring, sympathetic, and emotionally supportive children you could imagine. But, he will cling and be very possessive or jealous if he does not feel truly loved. He is inclined to have a few close friends that he cherishes rather than a lot of acquaintances.

Noted astrologer Marc Edmund Jones observed that planetary arrangements in a chart would often fall into patterns, and categorized those patterns (along with their common personality traits). These are often referred to as the Jones Patterns and are used by many astrologers. Bing's chart is an example of the "Splash" chart pattern, with the planets seeming to be 'splashed' in all areas of the chart, without much of a concentration in any one section. This can indicate a lot of diverse interests and someone who can be very well-rounded. At the same time, this chart pattern can also indicate someone who has a hard time concentrating their energies and can appear very scattered in their approach to things.

Taurus Signature Star Child: Otis Tobias Maguire

Nearly 4-year-old Otis Tobias Maguire, son of Tobey Maguire and Jennifer Meyer, is our Taurus Signature Star child! 

With his chart having a little bit of everything, Otis is probably turning out to be a pretty well-rounded kid. He's got a down-to-earth centeredness about him with his sun in mellow Taurus but also the emotional depth and intensity with his moon in Scorpio, which are natural opposites but can compliment each other. 

One thing these two opposites have in common in their tenacity, as both Scorpio and Taurus are fixed signs. They like things just so and don't like to budge once they've decided what they want. Poor mom and dad - just try to change his mind! However, with Mars in Aries, he won't be unmovable. In fact, he'll often prefer to be on the move, trying things out and getting things done, and his Mercury in curious Gemini means he'll never stop wondering "what does this button do?"

Beach Birthday for Virgo Henry Story Driver

Nope, we're not in Virgo birthday season yet! 3-1/2 year old Henry attended a friend's birthday party at the beach this weekend with mom Minnie Driver. Minnie has proclaimed her love of the ocean and it's probably something her and son Henry share in common. They both also share a Scorpio Moon in their natal charts; the bottomless depth of the ocean appeals to these intense, watery moon signs. 

That's not all they share, astrologically speaking. They both have strong Virgo influences in their chart: Minnie's south node, and Henry's Sun and Saturn. Minnie's natural orientation toward a practical and analytical perspective in life will be a great example for Henry. Where Saturn lies in our chart, we can often find our teachers; those people in our lives that we naturally look up to, not with starry-eyed adoration but respect for the wisdom they offer us. 

With Uranus opposite his Sun, Henry does have a bit of the rebel in him, and mom can understand that as well, with her Sun in the rebel sign of Aquarius. Looks like this duo is well-matched, in family love and in the stars!

8:08 am on 8.08.08 Clay Aiken Has A Son

Clay Aiken's son Parker Foster Aiken was born this morning at 8:08 am in a non-disclosed place in his home state of North Carolina. The Olympic Games began at 8:08 pm 8.08.08 in Bejing today.

Clay born on November 30, 1978 in Raleigh North Carolina (birth time unknown) has a Sun in Sagittarius with a Moon in Sagittarius. The legendary bachelor of the zodiac, this double Sadge guy has had a child with best friend, producer Jaymes Foster. The child was conceived via artificial insemination. Parker has a Sun in Leo and a Moon in Scorpio. His Father's Venus is in the sign of Scorpio conjunct his son's Moon. And Clay's North Node (22 degrees of Virgo 53 seconds) is conjunct his new son's Mars (23 degree's Virgo 07 seconds). Yeah, he'll probably idolize and be very motivated and connected to his Dad!

Will Parker with his charismatic and intense Moon in Scorpio and flair for being the center of attention with his Sun in Leo actually grow up to be in the spotlight for his day job? like his Dad who picked up a mike very early in life. Although this will be easy energy for Aiken's son to emulate, being in the spotlight from birth with a mother and uncle as producers what in his Kiddiegram shows that his destiny actually may be in a more practical healing vein, true to his Moon in Scorpio?
