Happy Birthday Pisces Kids

The Sun is in Pisces from February 18th to March 20th this year. Happy birthday to all those Pisces kiddos (and mommies and daddies)!

Pisceans arguably trump any other sign for imagination. They often retreat into their imagination to create the magical world they are sometimes more at home with than the mundane one. Piscean children can get caught up in daydreams quite often and parents can sometimes find it a challenge to keep their attention in the here and now! They can be quite intelligent, but sometimes seem absent-minded because of the call of the inner world.

Piscean children are also very tender and empathetic. They can sometimes be shy, but if someone is hurt or showing sadness, they are the first to put their arms around them and try to help. They can be so tender-hearted that their feelings are easily engaged and hurt as well.

Frances ("Frankie") Pen has three planets, including the Sun, in Pisces. She also has her north node in this sign, which means she is learning to balance her south node in Virgo. Big Sister Frances Pen

Amanda Peet, who recently gave birth to Molly June, says big sister Frances "Frankie" Pen is still adjusting as a big sister:

"It's been good; she's a little more moody than usual but it's not directed at the baby. It's more like, 'Frankie eat your broccoli,' and she starts screaming. She wants to have a baby in her belly and she wants to breastfeed."

While Frankie is a Pisces, her moon is in the sign of Aries, along with her Mars in Capricorn, two energies that indicate a desire to take charge and do things her way. With a moon in Aries, Frankie might be feeling a little competitive and left out, so there's a chance that she might want to be the one having the baby in her belly and breastfeeding to regain a sense of feeling important.

Being a Pisces, with a Virgo south node, Frankie has a strong desire to help, and with Mars in Capricorn, she knows exactly how she wants to do it! Capricorn is a sign of management in all senses of the word, not just a job title. Capricorn is about making plans and following through on those plans to reach your goals, something at which Frankie will typically be pretty good. Although, it might help for her to get a little older before she starts making plans on handling her new baby sister, since putting a newborn baby in a 3 year old's tummy probably isn't the most practical idea!

Amanda Peet Takes a Shot About Shots

Amanda Peet unwittingly angered the autism community for her comments about parents refusing to vaccinate their children and has offered an apology. Peet with a Capricorn Sun and a Moon in Scorpio noted that her use of the word "parasite" in an interview with Cookie Magazine was"mean and divisive" she writes on the magazine's web site

"I completely understand why it offended some parents, and in particular, parents of children with autism who feel that vaccines caused their illness. For this I am truly sorry."

She doesn't back down on her stance on vaccinations which has caused words between Jenny McCarthy and those who have sympathy for her position. Her daughter Frances will probably become a poster child for continuing the current protocol for children's shots.

Because Amanda Peet's family is in the east, and the couple has homes in Los Angeles and Manhatten, we decided that our best guestimate is that Frances was probably born on the East Coast near her Mom's family- again, a best guesstimate, sun on the ascendant chart wheel just to see the connections between this Pisces daughter and her Water Moon Mom.
