Indigo Mom Sees Red: Autism Activist Jenny McCarthy On Healing Son Evan's Autism

This picture of Jenny McCarthy with her Taurus son Evan Joseph Asher (born May 18, 2002) appears with an article she wrote in 2006 on being an Indigo on the web site for the magazine Children of the New Earth.


She has recounted much of her life with her"Crystal" son in more mainstream language in the five books she has written, the latest being an account of how she and other warrior parents of autistic children have taken on the medical establishment regarding the current procedure of giving vaccinations to children. Her articulate warrior stance is in evidence on her Good Morning America interview talking about her latest book, Mother Warriors: A Nation of Parents Healing Autism Against All Odds . Her son Evan Joseph Asher (his father is director John Asher) is in Jenny's mind a Crystal child. He is a transistor of sorts, with four planets and his north node in Gemini. His North Node is conjunct McCarthy's Saturn, so this family heartbreak (the couple was divorced, in her interview McCarthy notes that 80 percent of parents with children diagnosed with autism are divorced). McCarthy feels her son had been "trapped" all that Gemini energy unable to communicate, recently he told her that he used to be like Dory (in Nemo) but now he is back to himself. Together (with lover Jim Carrey who has a chapter in the book) this trio are becoming the poster family for a nation of parents whose stories about healing autism against all odds are beginning to be heard on a new frequency.

The book is a Lorenzo Oil type story about looking together for cures and healing.
