Sunny is likely an apt name for this little girl, with her south node in the "sunny" sign of  Leo. Right from the start she brings cheer and expressiveness, but her Sun and Mars in Scorpio reveal a serious side with an intense and focused personality, as well as a strong will. 

Unless she was born before 3:15 in the morning, Sunny's moon is in the sign of Capricorn, along with Jupiter. Coupled with her strong will, she will have an inherent ability to reach high for her goals and desires but still have the common sense necessary to be able to complete those goals rather than just letting them drift away as daydreams.

     Sunny Madeline could have more than just run-ins with the Authorities (the school principal, for instance) because she sometimes likes to break rules, stir up controversy, or get the goat of her favorite "tyrant". The truth is, she really chafes against restrictions of any kind and sometimes her resentment of them (especially seemingly mindless or meaningless rules) can reach the boiling point. As a young child, this may occasionally take the form of a fierce kind of obstinance, and in adolescence, some rather stormy times.

No Spoilers for Sadie & Sunny Sandler

Adam Sandler recently said in an interview that he is concerned about his kids being spoiled and does his part to ensure that his girls, Sadie (4) and Sunny (almost 2) are grateful for what they have. He says to the Toronto Sun:

“The idea of my kids being spoiled, I go to sleep thinking about it and I wake up thinking about it ... I try to do the right thing, but with the amount of money I have, it’s difficult to raise the children the way I was raised.”

That's not a sentence you usually hear from wealthy parents, but Adam has a whopping 5 planets all clustered in humble Virgo. Virgo is a sign that is built on the foundation of constantly striving to better itself and to feel like the work they do is always at its best; Virgo also holds itself to very high standards at that, so it doesn't like to 'rest on laurels'. Adam probably gets quite restless when he's not working because it's an inherent attitude for him to feel like he's earning his keep (and Mlle. Kiddie is pretty sure he is!) 

Instilling the values of working for what you're given and appreciating what you have in his kids is going to be second nature to him. How will Sadie and Sunny take this lesson in? Sunny may be more likely to be a bit on the diva side than Sadie. With Sunny's south node in the sign of royal Leo, she may expect more attention and praise as a child than Sadie, who's south node is in Libra and may tend to be more on the people-pleasing side of things. Sadie has a down-to-earth Taurus Sun, so she can appreciate her dad's down-to-earth, humble nature, and Sunny's probable Capricorn Moon can appreciate his sensibleness, so he's got some good material to work with in his daughters!

Sadie Sandler will be 4 years old on Thursday, which gives her a Taurus Sun, a perfect fit with Adam Sandler's Virgo Sun. Taurus and Virgo are both signs of the element of earth, an element that is happiest keeping things down-to-earth, real, and practical. Even though sometimes Virgo can get high-strung when really worried about something, they both like to keep things low-key, without too much drama. Mlle. Sadie has visited on the set of Adam's latest movie with Jennifer Aniston and says that Sadie likes Aniston about 50% of the time. “I call her ‘Fifty Fifty Sadie,'" he says. With that much earth energy, including her Taurus Sun, she may just take a while to warm up to new people.

Sadie much prefers the known and the familiar to the new and different. Her tastes are likely to be very consistent and fixed, and it will not be easy for you to introduce new food, especially if it is exotic or distinctive in any way. She can be very inflexible and resistant to new ideas and to changes in the status quo, also. A reliable routine suits her very well.

Mlle. Kiddie does not know what is planned for Sadie's birthday celebration, but in light of Sadie's low-key style, she would recommend a good, old-fashioned park or backyard party, complete with barbeque, ice cream, games, the works!
