What started as a humorous tongue and cheek 13 item list by Tulane Professor Thomas Bayer listing reasons that Brat Pitt should be Mayor of New Orleans (second on the list" Angelina Jolie would be First Lady) gathered steam in Britain and now there is a grassroots drive to draft Pitt into running for Mayor of New Orleans. T-Shirts are being sold, people are taking it seriously although Pitt kinda pooh poohs the seriousness of the wildfire draft.
Pitt told Ann Curry of The Today Show "I don't have a chance" Besides being a world traveler, and father of six and still involved in a demanding film schedule with locations around the world and houses on at least two continents, he was born Sagittarius. A day job isn't in the cards for him.
