Mother Moon: Jennifer Garner Does it All!

Mother's Day is approaching (May 13th) so please enjoy this May spotlight on the astrology of our favorite Hollywood moms!

Whenever Jennifer Garner is spotted out and about, it's typically with at least one of her three children in tow! Whether it's karate class, dance class, a birthday party or a mom and daughter mani-pedis, Jennifer has proven herself to be a "world-class mom" according to her husband Ben Affleck (and Mlle. Kiddie thinks she's pretty great too!)

If it seems like Jennifer Garner has to have cloned herself to keep up with three kids and all their activities, you can thank her whopping four planets in Gemini, the sign of the twins, for the mountain of multitasking she seems to accomplish for her three kids Violet, Serafina, and Samuel. Gemini always has something going on (make that two or three somethings) and is often good at juggling their lives. They like to keep it interesting by pursuing many interests and activities, and are always having new ideas. Mars, the planet of action, is one of the four planets in Gemini in Jennifer's chart, so keeping on-the-go is second nature to her. Gemini tends to get restless if it sits still for too long. That's not to say that a mom of three kids couldn't use a nap, to say the least!

The moon specifically correlates with our nurturing style, and Jennifer's Gemini moon reveals she's likely to want to nurture her children especially by listening to what they have to say and offering advice or asking questions that can help them express what they want and need. Helping her kids learn to work through their problems by reasoning them through is one probable way she'll help them gain independence.

And Baby Makes Three For the Afflecks

Capricorn Seraphina and Sagittarius Violet Affleck now have something new in common: they are both big sisters! Samuel Garner was born at an undisclosed time on February 27th, according to Ben's announcement on his Facebook page. A noon chart has been cast.

 Even without knowledge of the time, it's certain that Samuel's chart boasts a Taurus Moon, as it was in Taurus all day long. The Moon sign is typically the most important sign to consider when considering a baby's chart, as they communicate on simple, emotional, and instinctual terms when they are so young. A baby's Moon sign also reveals what they need to feel safe and nurtured. While everyone baby needs routine, a Taurus Moon thrives on it. Samuel will appreciate a regular, but not necessarily rigid schedule.

Taurus Moon babies tend to be rather sweet and laid back, happy as a clam as long as they're well fed and rested, which tends to be easy to do as they're not typically fussy or picky. This should be a great fit for the third baby of a busy family! He'll be happy to be along for the ride, just hanging out. 

Taurus can be quite a gentle sign, and with a sweet-hearted Pisces Sun in addition, he'll be fawned over, that's for sure!

Violet is a "people person" who may have little inclination or taste for solitude. Finding interesting things to do when she's on her own can be challenging. Companionship and friendship are everything to her, and she may not act very decisively unless she knows that at least one other person approves of her actions. Because of this, her friends and other significant people in her life can unduly influence her. She may also be a bit of a busybody, because she so much wants to be actively involved in others' lives. She will play advisor, peace-maker, go-between, or counselor to her playmates and friends throughout her life.
