Silly Sadie Grace

Christina Applegate, mom of 1-year-old Aquarius daughter Sadie Grace, talked with Scholastic's Parent & Child magazine about her "funny little kid:"

"She makes me laugh every day — she’s a funny little kid and a happy girl. She’ll stand on a little box in our room and press her musical bear until she finds the song she wants. Then she grooves, dances, and stomps around for 20 minutes. She has the best time all by herself. Martyn and I love watching that — it makes us laugh really hard."

Every sign has their own sense of humor and for Aquarians, it's the absurd, the sudden, and the unexpected. With instinctual Mars so close to Sadie's Sun, she'll have a great ability to shoot "from the hip" and make others laugh with her comedic timing.

Christina goes on to say that she's gotten a lot sillier since Sadie was born, doing monkey imitations and just being generally "ridiculous." While Sadie's Mars is next to her Sun, Christina's Mars is next to her Moon, in the sign of Pisces which brings a sort of whimsy to her humor style. With a wealth of Sagittarius planets in her chart, she's also going to be great at spontaneous, silly, physical humor. Looks like the monkey imitations are working out for her, but apparently "Sadie is a much harder critic than the public!"

Molly Shannon's Mischevious Tots

Molly Shannon (SNL) told Good Housekeeping that her kids were "mischevious," and that she wants to instill in them the values of being "silly and wild."

"My dad grew up as a real trickster, and I passed that on to my kids. They like to think of tricks to play. Once my son put an ice cube under my pillow.

"When they're older, it'll be much more serious. But now I want them to have fun — make mud pies, get dirty, ride bikes."

Comedy, whether physical comedy, telling jokes, or just having a great sense of timing, doesn't seem to come from just one place in a natal chart, but from a combination. Mercury likes to tell the jokes and reflects the nature of one's 'wit', while action-oriented Mars might be the one to know when the time is right to go for it and when it's passed.

Uranus always adds the unexpected, so paired with Mars, Stella shoots from the hip. She may not know she's about to let 'er rip until the words are out of her mouth!
