Robert Downey Jr.'s Junior

Aries Robert Downey Jr. and his wife Susan welcomed their new son, Exton Elias, on Tuesday morning in Los Angeles.

Exton is not a twin, but many things in his chart reveal more than one personality (metaphorically speaking, of course!). To mention a few: first, he was born with the south node in Gemini which lends curiosity, a strong intellect, and good verbal skills, but a lesser well-known quality of Gemini comes from the symbol that represents it: the twins. Gemini is a sign that has a strong element of duality.

This duality ripples through Exton's chart. His Aquarius Sun and Mercury are hidden away in the private 12th house. The Sun represents our core "power source," it is central to our sense of self and cohesiveness. In the 12th house, Exton will be most comfortable recharging himself with solitude, or more likely, retreating into his mind and imagination in the mental air sign of Aquarius.

But Exton was born with an engaging Leo moon, as it was building toward the full moon phase. The full moon, occurring when the moon is farthest away from the sun as depicted in an astrological chart, is fully illuminated and therefore bright and visible for all to see. These souls are often moved to extend themselves out into the world, whether it's socially, professionally, creatively, etc.

Exton Elias, Aquarius

While Exton probably will not be overly gregarious in his personality characteristics, he will likely have quite a magnetic presence. The most striking thing about his chart is the planet Neptune, which is parked right on his Ascendant. The Ascendant is not just how we approach the world, it is also the impression that the world gets of us and therefore, how it responds to us. Neptune has a kind of mystery and fantasy about it that draws us to it. If you're wearing it on your sleeve, the world is drawn to you! But there is always that enigmatic quality to these people that leaves us wondering what's really going on behind-the-scenes.

Magnetic and captivating celebrities with Neptune close to the Ascendant: Marilyn Monroe, Bjork, Paul McCartney, Paris Hilton, and Suri Cruise.

Jerry Seinfeld is Raising "Weird Kids"

Jerry Seinfeld is not only funny and weird, he's encouraging his kids to be funny and weird as well. Jerry said in a recent interview:
"I think it's fun to be funny and I push it on the kids, too."
He tells his kids: "Don't be embarrassed. When you're acting silly, it feels weird, but this is what makes life more fun."

His wife, Jessica, also says: "Weird is good," and understanding that helps their kids appreciate and accept all of the unique people that they meet.

Jerry and Jessica have three kids: Sascha (10), Julian (8), and Shepherd (6). Of all three, Julian will probably appreciate the "weird is good" sentiment the most! Often times, the characteristics or situations that make us stand out or feel weird, are where Uranus or the sign Aquarius shows up in an astrological chart. Uranus represents the way we develop our sense of individuality.

Uranus isn't about confidence, necessarily; confidence often comes from many places, such as the astrological Sun. Uranus is where we learn that we can walk our own path, our own 'road less traveled'. We may feel awkward, we may stand out, we may feel we aren't understood, but it's a strong Uranus that enables us to be free to think outside the box and make up our own rules. The sign Aquarius also reflects these experiences and needs.

Julian not only has the Moon in the sign of Aquarius, but he also has three other planets in Aquarius, including Uranus and Mercury close to the Moon. He'll probably be an innovative thinker, and have some kind of ability to come up with unusual and creative ideas, as well as being a creative problem solver. With these planets in the hidden and personal 8th house, he may keep his thoughts to himself, but he's learning to gain confidence and trust himself with Jupiter, the planet of faith and opportunity, in Leo (confidence, charisma) in his first house (self-expression).

In any case, dad Jerry will be a good example for off-the-wall silliness. With Uranus conjunct his south node, he was born weird!

Happy Birthday Aquarius Kids!

The Sun is in Aquarius from January 20th to February 18th this year. Happy birthday to all those Aquarius kiddos (and mommies and daddies)!

Aquarians are here learning the simple and elegant art of being themselves. Aren't we all, you ask? Certainly, but Aquarius is specializing in the process of individuation - figuring out who they really are amidst the pressure of peers, parents, and popular culture.

One of Aquarius' tools, especially in children, is the instinct toward contrariness; the harder you try to get them to do something or want something, the more likely they are to do the opposite thing! The 'reverse-psychology' ploy often works longer with Aquarius kids than some - they just can't resist that rebel streak!

Rebellion against the norm is one primary way that Aquarius learns that they can assert their own individuality. As they grow, the key is for them to learn that unfocused rebellion or contrariness for its own sake is often just a knee-jerk reaction and doesn't always lead to a true realization of who they are. Being the opposite of what someone wants may not lead you any closer to yourself!

Prince Michael Jackson Jr. is an Aquarius Sun with a Taurus Moon and a Scorpio Ascendant. All these three signs are 'fixed', which tend to bring stubbornness and a tendency to plant one's feet. He also has a wealth of Aquarius in his chart, guaranteed to have him working to assert his independence at every step! One can see how having a famous parent might create the perfect incubator to walk the journey of learning about one's authentic self.

Here's more from Prince's Kiddiegram:

Independent-minded and strong-willed, Prince Michael has his own ideas about how things should be done, and they often do not conform to any already-existing standards or patterns. In fact, he seems to positively delight in challenging custom and convention. Born with a strong need to experiment, he is drawn to the novel and unusual in people, ideas, fashions, and lifestyles. Innovation, originality, inventiveness, and discovering new or alternative ways of doing things are his trademark.

Our Cool Hand Luke, Paul Newman, Lives on Forever

Legendary star, Paul Newman died on September 26th at the age of 83. Since the child is father of the man, we are doing his Kiddiegram chart wheel and Kiddiegram report to help shine light on the amazing qualities of character this man revealed while he graced the planet with his presence. His Kiddiegram won't tell us that he was destined to be a giant of cinematic greats but it might let us know why with his his cooler than cool look he was always a heart throb even on bottles of salad dressing and popcorn. His ability to communicate in stark contrast to the oft quoted legendary lines from Cool Hand Luke "what we have here is a failure to communicate". He kept his uber cool on a hot planet. This" natural -born world shaker" will be sorely missed

"He was smiling... That's right. You know, that, that Luke smile of his. He had it on his face right to the very end. Hell, if they didn't know it 'fore, they could tell right then that they weren't a-gonna beat him. That old Luke smile. Oh, Luke. He was some boy. Cool Hand Luke. Hell, he's a natural-born world-shaker. " Cool Hand Luke

His sun , but of course was in the first house:

Sun in the First House
Paul is rather charismatic, and he makes a strong impact and first impression on others. Most of the time he radiates such a strong sense of himself that other children--and even adults!--follow his lead. He cannot abide being "second fiddle" for long in any situation, and will go his own way rather than put up with neglect or insufficient recognition.

Where is your child's sun in his chart wheel? Might he or she also share this charismatic characteristic of Sun in the first house? Check out a free chart wheel today! Go to Kiddiegram.com and click on icon for a free chart wheel. If the glyph for your child's sun sign is in the same position of Paul Newman's Sun, you may have a natural born world shaker on your hands! depending on the sign your child's sun is in.
