Libra Signature Star Child: Kal-el Coppola Cage

Kal-el, son of Nicolas Cage and his wife, Alice Kim, is our Libra Signature Star Child!

Nic is said to have named his son after Superman's original name on his home planet, and although Mlle. Kiddie hopes that's not too much pressure for the little one, it looks like he'll grow into the name with that courageous Aries north node!

Kal-el's chart is dominated by Libra, with four planets in this congenial sign. With Mercury and Jupiter sharing close quarters, he'll tend toward an optimistic point of view and will probably instinctively know how to put a smile on others' faces with a good story or a funny joke.

Happy Birthday Libra Kids!

The Sun is in Libra this year from roughly September 22nd to October 22nd. Happy birthday to all those Libra kiddos (and their mommies and daddies)!

Kids with prominent Libra planets in their charts, especially the Sun and/or the Moon, are primarily concerned with fairness and peacekeeping. Happy Father's Day: Nicholas Cage and Kal-El

In celebration of Father's Day, Mlle. Kiddie looks at daddy-kiddo relationships this month.

Nick was recently quoted saying that he tries to live his home life with a 'sense of normalcy,' which is no surprise since Nick has a great deal of Capricorn in his chart, including his Sun and South Node, and it's all in his first house of 'self'. He is a guy who's use to getting things done independently, taking care of business according to his agenda and probably a hard worker. He has a certain way he likes to run things and doesn't like a lot of chaos in the mix, although he may try to control circumstances too much in an effort to get that 'normalcy'. With a Cancer North Node in the 7th house of partnership and a Libra Moon, he's learning how to stay true to that hard-working and independent identity while recognizing the need for compromise and sharing with important people in his life.

The love for his children will certainly be one of the best outlets for Nick to learn this ability to compromise and share his life, something he probably gets better at with age, as the north node qualities tend to grow over a lifetime. He has a 19 year old son, a Capricorn like Nick, named Weston, and an almost 5 year old, Kal-El.

Kal-El has a wealth of Libra in his chart, including his Sun and Moon. Kal-El was born knowing the art of negotiation! He will need his dad to teach him the kind of Capricorn independence that he has so that Kal-El can learn to think of others as he naturally does but recognize when he needs to focus on his own goals and what he wants to create in his life instead of waiting for others' approval. Kal-El's presence as well as his personality will encourage Nick closer toward his North Node goal.

A double Jupiter-Moon connection is active between Nick and Kal-El. Nick's Jupiter is in the opposite place from Kal-El's Moon, yet Kal-El's Jupiter is right in the same place as Nick's Moon. Jupiter, among other things, can represent someone who encourages us and helps us grow, so in some ways can feel like our teacher. It seems that of the two, Kal-El is going to be the one who teaches his dad the most--especially in the way of opening your heart and learning to be happy.

Cage Will Not Leave Bavarian Castle to Sons

Nicolas Cage (January 7, 1964 Long Beach, Ca) has sold one of his castles. The one in Bavaria. It's not that Knowing is not doing well, (it made 60 million it's first weekend) it's that it takes a lot of money to maintain those 28 rooms (ten of them bedrooms). Despite the sale (his Mom was Bavarian) he'll have fond memories of the 500 year old castle.

Cage is a star who has connected his ability to buy and sell castles directly to his fans who have made him a star. In an early April interview he says he is teaching his kids (an eighteen year old and a three year old) to be polite and gracious to the fans that come up to when they are in public.

He explains, in the Post-Chronicle "I let my kids know that the people we meet, and who say 'Hi', they make it possible for us to live our lives and to eat. So we have to be thankful and be positive when we meet them, and that's important for people in my line of work. Let's be happy about these people... be thankful for them.

Cage's kids are almost a generation apart. His Capricorn son Weston Coppola Cage was born December 26, 1990 and shares not only a birthday month but similar planetary energies with his Dad . Libran son Kal-El (born October 3, 2005) was named after Superman. Kal-El like his Dad has a Mars conjunct Sun his stellium in Libra . Cage has a Moon in Libra .
We suspect that Cage and his sons just might just keep hold of Mitford castle in England which he bought in 2007 when filming the sequel to National Treasure. His noblisse oblige attitude is refreshing in this age of celebrities and not kings and queens
