"Jungle Girl" Bindi Irwin 5 Years Later

Bindi Irwin, now 13, has been in the spotlight from a very young age and is now confidently and earnestly continuing her father's legacy.

In a recent and lengthy interview, she shared her thoughts about her father, Steve Irwin, and continuing his work, as well as the broader issues she wants to tackle in her future.

"My Dad was such an incredible person ... when someone like that comes along and leaves such a huge footprint and imprint, you can't just let that die. You have to continue."

Bindi being born in the spotlight is reflected by her south node in the 11th house of the public, as the south node often represents what we carry forward from pre-life or early life, frequently describing circumstances we were born into. Being involved in the world and issues on a larger scale comes with the territory of the 11th house, whether or not fame is involved. But it's Bindi's passionate Aries Ascendant that reflects her 'powerhouse' approach to the world, and Jupiter lies close to the ascendant, in hopeful Pisces, providing the confidence and enthusiasm to continue burning bright and hot in whatever project she undertakes.

"The non-consumptive use of wildlife is a huge issue. But as I get older I want to tackle other huge issues, such as global warming and the human population - which I think is the elephant in the room that no one wants to talk about.

I really do think of myself as a teacher, and I think I'm extremely lucky to be able to reach a wide audience. And the more people that want to listen, the better."

Bindi isn't just a teacher, but was born to defend and express what she beliefs in with the fervency of a preacher with Pluto in her 9th house of philosophy. Her dynamic Aries Ascendant and her charismatic Leo Sun and Moon make her full of the fire element, which can set others around them on fire.

Her Venus and Mars are in the sign of Cancer, a sign often concerned with nurture and family, in the 4th house of home, ancestry and family legacy, it's not a surprise that her love (Venus) and her passion (Mars) are directed in the work of her father, but she'll no doubt find her own spin and approach as she gets to know herself better.

Christina Aguilera's Son Max: Mommy's Protector!

During a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Christina Aguilera mentioned that her son Max is very protective of her:

“If he was here right now, when you shook my hand, he’d be like, ‘Don’t touch my mommy!’ He doesn’t get the whole thing yet that mommy is a public personality so he’s very protective."

“When I’m getting my makeup done, he’s like, ‘No! Don’t touch!’ It’ll be interesting to see how he reacts to a tour.”

Max doesn't have a lot of planetary placements in his chart that would tend to indicate possessiveness, but Mlle. Kiddie suspects that Pluto in Max's 4th House of Home and Family might be a clue to his behavior with his mother. Pluto intensifies and deepens whatever it touches, and in the 4th house, we forge our family connections, so while most children form a deep attachment to their parents, Max's may be even more intense.

More would be revealed if it was known whether this behavior started before Christina and Max's father, Jordan Bratman, split. Because Pluto can indicate a deep attachment to something (in this case, to mom, it being in the 4th house) it can also be a place where we develop a profound fear or longing if that attachment feels threatened. This is indicated in Max's Kiddiegram:

Pluto in the Fourth House

Max is apt to have a very intense relationship with one or both of his parents. It may be stormy and difficult, or it may simply be an unusually close, strong attachment of which he's very much aware. Max is affected by the emotional undercurrents, secrets, or power dynamics in his home. Healing or clearing away some old family business will a part of his life task.
With Mars in the opposite position from Pluto, and forming a square to his Ascendant, Max may be establishing himself early on as 'defender' of the family, reacting to his deep desire to stay safe with mom (or perhaps keep mom safe) by defending her against others' touch. The planet Mars is often known as the warrior planet, and many people think of it astrologically as how we initiate, or attack, going after what we want, but a warrior also defends, just as Max is doing. Mlle. Kiddie hopes mom Christina can ease Max into 'standing down'!

Ian Ziering Welcomes Daughter Mia Loren

Ian Ziering (original 90210 series) and his wife Erin welcomed their first child, Mia Loren, on April 26th. That's just a few days before Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon met their twins, Monroe and Moroccan. When babies are born just a few days apart or even on the same day, how different can they be?

Plenty! Besides the obvious environmental, family, and cultural differences between two babies born to different families on the same day, the time of day each child is born can greatly alter their natal chart. Take a look at Monroe & Moroccan's shared chart, compared to Mia Loren's chart born just four days earlier:

They both share that same tremendous stellium (grouping of planets all in one sign or house) in the sign of Aries: Uranus, Venus, Mercury, Mars, and Jupiter, but because they were born at opposite times of the day, the same planets in the same signs are now on opposite sides of the chart. Monroe and Moroccan are likely to thrust most of their initiating and bold Arien traits outward into the world, as shown by most of their planets lying in the 10th and 11th 'public' houses. The bulk of Mia's planets lie in the very private 4th house, so much of her initiating and bold behaviors will be turned inward, exploring the territory of her inner life and soul. The twins' arena will be the great expanse of the world, but Mia's will be the depth of her self, her family, and her own back yard.

They also share different moon signs. The moon moves rather quickly compared to the other planets, taking only 2 or so days to go through a sign while the sun takes around 30. We can see that on April 26th, when Mia was born, the moon was in the sign of Aquarius, whereas the twins' moon was in the sign of Aries. Aries is a fire sign, so it dives right in and engages, immersing itself head first into life. Their emotional orientation (moon) will be toward that of reacting quickly and impulsively, while Mia, although she has a great deal of Aries planets in her chart, has her moon in Aquarius, so her emotional orientation will be more toward curiosity and detachment. Aries engages to experience and express, but Aquarius disengages, to objectively experience and express.
