And Baby Makes Three For the Afflecks

Capricorn Seraphina and Sagittarius Violet Affleck now have something new in common: they are both big sisters! Samuel Garner was born at an undisclosed time on February 27th, according to Ben's announcement on his Facebook page. A noon chart has been cast.

 Even without knowledge of the time, it's certain that Samuel's chart boasts a Taurus Moon, as it was in Taurus all day long. The Moon sign is typically the most important sign to consider when considering a baby's chart, as they communicate on simple, emotional, and instinctual terms when they are so young. A baby's Moon sign also reveals what they need to feel safe and nurtured. While everyone baby needs routine, a Taurus Moon thrives on it. Samuel will appreciate a regular, but not necessarily rigid schedule.

Taurus Moon babies tend to be rather sweet and laid back, happy as a clam as long as they're well fed and rested, which tends to be easy to do as they're not typically fussy or picky. Kiddie School Days: Violet, Suri, and Shiloh

Ben Affleck & Jennifer Garner were seen checking out a possible school this week for their daughter, Violet, who will be attending Kindergarten this year. Suri Cruise, and Shiloh Jolie-Pitt will also be of Kindergarten age come this fall. Mlle. Kiddie is curious to know what subjects will be near and dear to these youngster's hearts as they grow and how they'll take on the big K grade!

Violet Affleck
Violet has both the Sun and Moon in the sign of the adventurer, Sagittarius. It won't be enough for her to just learn about something, she'll want to dig in and experience it first hand. She'll probably learn best when she's able to test the concepts herself, not just seeing them demonstrated. Her Sun and Moon are also in the 6th house, so she'll really like to put things to practical use again. "Let's see it in action" will need to be her motto! Sports that keep her active and having fun on the playground, or science like biology that have her on field trips to her local zoos or aquariums might be favorites.

Suri Cruise
Suri may not have much appreciation for the daily diligence and formal school rules--she's the experimenting type. With her Aquarius Rising, she approaches the world from the view of the rebel, and doesn't appreciate falling in line with the system. An approach of creativity and freedom will suit Suri just fine, although with an expansive Sagittarius Moon and Neptune on her Ascendant, you'll need to catch her attention first! Art and dance might be high on Suri's list.

One thing's for sure, Shiloh won't be able to pick just one subject as her favorite! With the Sun, Moon, and Mercury in the curious and mentally active sign of Gemini, she's here to learn everything she can about everything, moving on when she gets bored. Keeping up with her interests will be her teacher's challenge. She will like to ask questions and understand everything she can. No doubt she's already reading by now!

Violet Affleck Sends 2009 Off With a Skip

Adorable and newly four years old, Violet Affleck enjoyed some shopping with her mom and sister on the 31st. Her hard-working mom, Jennifer Garner, recently discussed juggling work and motherhood in a W Magazine interview, saying that she 'lives her life at two extremes: full-time-stay-at-home-mom or full-time-actress.'

Violet will likely follow her mom's example, even if she goes into a profession other than acting. Violet has a triple dose of Sagittarius in her chart: the powerhouse planets Sun, Moon, and Pluto. Sagittarius is a fire sign, and the fire signs like to burn hot and fast. Sagittarius especially loves an adventure and tends to dive in with no hesitation to what excites them. They can certainly take things to the extreme!
