14-year-old Hailee Steinfeld garnered an Academy Award nomination for her role in True Grit. She played the role of Mattie Ross, a young girl who tries to track down her father's murderer and bring him to justice. Her character is smart, motivated, powerful, and very mature for her age.Not unlike Hailee herself!
